It is the case where expectations meet reality. The setting is cosmopolitan and glamorous. The team is superb, always watching and very attentive. The menu is diverse enough to go through raw and cooked creations. We chosen miso, chutoro and spicy tuna roll for a start, duck and wagyu gyoza, finishing with red curry. Unlike raw salty intensity of miso soups at most places, the chef managed to find an elegant balance, raising the expectations from the first sip. Tuna rolls stood their grounds, just enough rice, crispy seaweed and subtle sauce. Duck was sublime, not that many chefs have it on their menu, it’s the imagination that resulted in explosive pallet, bravo. The gyoza was juicy and is the reason to come on its own for gyoza lovers. Another gem was a red curry lobster, that was so tender, enveloped in a mildly spicy sauce. All this was beautifully balanced by a bottle of Horin sake at insistence of the sommelier Valério Thank you to all who made the night so magnificent.
